Balance Beam Champions Then and Now

Liu Xuan: Then, 2000 Olympic Balance Beam Champion. Skill named after her—one-arm giant swing. Now, movie actress, singer. 

Mo Huilan: Then, 1995 World Balance Beam Champion. Skill named after her—Gaylord salto.  Now, TV show host, sports commentator.

Yang Bo: Then, 1990 World Cup Final Balance Beam Champion. Skill named after her—Yang Bo leap.  Now, singer and TV show host.

6. Liu Xuan - CHN - 2000 Olympics - Event Finals

I really like this routine. Liu Xuan went to the Olympics in Atlanta, then was put on the team in Sydney for her experience. Two of her teammates had already medaled on bars. This was her last shot for an individual medal of her own, and it was a gold one.
